Sitting down in the booth and reviewing the menu, I read two entrees that piqued my interest: the carne asada plate and the curry fried chicken. I asked the waitress which of the two dishes she preferred. She said the chicken was "really good". When you have the fateful opportunity to try a non-traditional brewpub dish-curry chicken-instead of generic pub food, you've been blessed with the chance to have gastronomic fun.
And so I ordered the Curry Fried Chicken.

And an adventure it was. The chicken arrived with a fried crispy, crunchy skin, covered in a yummy curry bechamel. Underneath the chicken was a bed of very excellent mashed potatoes. What sets this dish apart from the usual pub chicken is the curry and creamy mashed potatoes.Add the pico do gallo, seasonal vegetables, and the delightful crispy fried onions, the dish was a complete concoction of flavors.
For my brew, I chose the provocative Belgian Royal Brown. With an almost whopping 9% alcohol, the brown comes in the smaller 10 ounce tulip glass.
